This fine example of BMW's striking two-door 635CSi automatic coupe with sunroof presents well for its 37 years. Delivered new in June of 1980 to Western Automobile Co Edinburgh, it was imported to Australia in 1991.Considered one of the best looking two-door BMW coupes produced, the 635CSi is today a very collectable classic.

Presenting in great condition for its age, this example is a factory right-hand-drive car and has been very well maintained over the years. In “Lagoon Green” with a contrasting cream interior, this unique colour scheme compliments the BMW's classic look. The paintwork and bodywork present very well.

From 2004 this vehicle had the interior re-trimmed, steering box overhauled, the sunroof motor and seals replaced, the drive shafts reconditioned and new Bilstein's fitted font and rear, there is nothing more to spend on this example!

The original owners' manual, service logbooks remain with the vehicle as well as service receipts. With little effort, this 635CSI could be returned to its original beautiful condition and would make a great addition to any collection. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a unique part of BMW's rich history and a future classic.

The 3.5-litre in-line six is noted for its smoothness and coupled to this German coupes long-wheelbase the driving experience, it is very polished with a well-controlled but supple ride. A fast point to point grand tourer the 635 CSi with three-speed automatic has a top speed capability of 222 km/h.

1985 was a special year for the model with Jim Richards taking out the Australian Touring Car Championship in his black and gold JPS sponsored model. No fewer than nine were on the grid for that year's Bathurst 1000 as well, with a European entered 635 CSi driven by Cecotto and Ravaglia gaining second place.
