The third generation of the BMW 6 Series consists of the BMW F12 (two-door convertible version), BMW F13 (two-door coupe version) and BMW F06 (four-door "Gran Coupe" version) grand tourers. The F12/F13/F06 generation was produced from 2011 to 2018 and is often collectively referred to as the F12.

Unusually for BMW, the production version of the convertible was released before the coupé. The first convertible models were released in March 2011 and were produced until May 2018.

In 2015, the 6 Series underwent a facelift, featuring design changes and minor performance and fuel economy improvements. Exterior changes include redesigned hood, front and rear bumpers, LED fog-lights, adaptive LED headlights, turn signals on the wing mirrors, revised wheel design, and new paint colours.

This BMW 640 Cabriolet had two owners in Germany. From 2015 - 2018 a CEO in Cologne and in 2018 it was registered in Bonn. The second owner is a dentist. All services have been done at BMW AG dealarship in Bonn.

The car is 100% Original. The car was kept always in the garage, non smoking and was well treated. This spring the BMW got a new set of summer tyres.

The car has no dents or scratches. Just the front lower spoiler and the right front wheel got some light scratches when touching a curb. The car had in 2015 a light hail damage which got repaired at the BMW delaership for 3.500 EUR. There is no other damage or accident reported to this car.

Everything is 100% functional and the interior is very clean. The German MOT (TüV) and a small BMW service is due in 09/2020.
