Description

"The BMW 3-series is a compact executive car manufactured since May 1975. It has been produced in six different generations and in five different body styles. It is BMW's best-selling model, accounting for around 30% of the BMW brand annual total sales and has won numerous awards throughout its history.
The E30 was sold from 1982 to 1991 in saloon form and then until 1993 in convertible format. Both four-cylinder and six-cylinder petrol engines were used with a six-cylinder diesel added in 1985. In 1987, the first all-wheel drive 3-series was produced called the 325iX. The E30's introductory price was nearly double that of the E21 just seven years earlier. Initially released as a two-door coupé, the four-door saloon body style was added to the 3-series line up in 1984.
Presented in its original bronze colour scheme, this 320i Saloon with automatic transmission presents very well and would be best described as a nice original unmolested example. We are advised the car drives very well and starts on the button. It shows no visible signs of rust. There is evidence of paint work, though bearing in mind the car is 35 years old, that is to be expected. It retains the original brown tinted glass all round with accompanying BMW stamp, full tool kit and hubcaps as new. With two former keepers, both of whom are from the same family. This father and son owned example boasts the original service book with stamps, coupled to invoices for work carried out over the last 10 years, three keys and all paperwork including v5 registration documents alongside a MoT test certificate until May 2023. Having been well maintained and well cared for, this is a great opportunity for a collector or enthusiast to own such a well-preserved car, with early E30 saloons being difficult to come by.
