MODEL HISTORY

The Bentley Turbo R was originally introduced in 1985 to add a ‘Blower’ theme to the already successful Mulsanne. The R stood for ‘Roadholding’.

Improvements were across the board to suit this sportier, faster version of the Mulsanne. Developed through the years a newer model was eventually produced by 1996 which included many upgrades on the original design. 4 headlights, Zytek fuel injection, sporty Continental style alloys, and floor selector gear change. Upgraded suspension, ABS brakes and a higher gear ration giving the car very long touring legs.
