"The Bentley Turbo R was a high performance model produced from 1985 to 1997 with only 7,230 units manufactured in this production period. The 'R' stood for 'Roadholding' which made it different from its predecessor, the Mulsanne, courtesy of substantially stiffer anti-roll bar settings, a Panhard rod system and increased damping. Wider tyres on alloy wheels were also a first for a Bentley on the Turbo R. The suspension changes transformed the soft ride of the Mulsanne into that of a real performer, with motoring press proclaiming this model to be more faithful to Bentley's racing pedigree, which made these large executive saloons something to behold on the road at speed. In 1995, a 'new' Turbo R was launched featuring, amongst other things, fuel injection which contributed towards a mighty 385bhp output. This lovely example of these luxurious motor cars is presented in dark blue with cream leather interior and has just had a full service by Bentley specialist P T Classics costing £5,634 at 35,300 miles and it now has a full service history which is all important with these models. Low mileage examples such as this are highly sought after and with its gleaming paintwork and sumptuous interior, it provides any incumbent with the luxury one would expect from such a marquee."
