To many connoisseurs the Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars of the Fifties and early Sixties were the last to display the traditional craftsmanship which Rolls-Royce had made their own. Their separate chassis allowed an uncommon elegance of coachwork design, either by the Crewe factory itself or by independent coachbuilders such as H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward and James Young; the unitary construction of body and chassis of all subsequent models all but ended such a traditional association.
Manufactured on the 4th September 1959, B20HA is one of just two convertibles styled to body design number 7492 by H.J. Mulliner.
A very late production example, B20HA was delivered to the celebrated tycoon Sir Bernard Docker, Chairman of BSA, in September 1959 through the fine old firm of Car Mart Ltd. B20HA was gener
