The Model: In 1994, Bentley unveiled the Concept Java at the Geneva Motor. Designed as smaller, more affordable, yet still true to the brand heritage, the Java aimed at a new range of potential buyers. Although the Concept Java never made it into production the Bentley Continental GT realized the concept of the Java as a more affordable Bentley. The Continental GT and later GTC differed significantly from the previous Continental in that it incorporated fewer hand­built processes to enable production in larger numbers. The GTC is equipped with a 6.0 liter twin­ turbocharged W12 engine, which produces 552 bhp. Power reaches the road through a permanent four-­wheel drive system and gives the small Bentley 197 mph capability. To commemorate the 1951 establishment of Bentley’s official styling department, Bentley commissioned the Series 51. Every Series 51 car featured a highly­ distinctive interior color palette and offered unique exterior design cues. The interiors featured specially tailored three-tone designs, contrasting engine­-turned aluminum dash options and limited­-edition Amboyna veneer exclusive to the Series 51. Exterior features included the 20-­inch 14­spoke polished Diamond wheel with and signature '51' badges on the front wings.

The Car: This spectacular Bentley is a 2010 GTC Mulliner Series 51. This car features the Series 51 Mulliner Package which added almost $19,000 to the overall cost, giving it an original MSRP over $229,000. The Glacier White exterior is in excellent condition as is the custom Series 51 leather interior. The three tone Series 51 interior is amazing and shows little wear. Interior features include a hide-­trimmed, multi­function steering wheel, rear view camera, contrast stitching, lumbar massage seats, Amboyna veneer inserts and hide-­trimmed deep pile carpets. The series 51 motif continues on the outside with the 14-spoke polished Diamond wheels and ‘51’ badging. The Karmann­-built tan convertible top is also in excellent condition.The Series 51 is the most exclusively appointed GTC. Don’t let this one pass you by.
