Description

Chassis number : B-170-GA Engine number : C 8 BF Matching engine and chassis numbers to the original Bentley build sheet for this car. Originally a 4 door sports saloon by Thrupp and Maberly. Now a very handsome, well-constructed, four seat, two door open tourer, with broad 'cutaway' doors, giving an excellent place to rest your arm! The coachwork was built by Leyshon-James, who we believe built two such cars. (B 170 GA  Being the other car)
Built to a high standard, is in very good, substantial condition, and is a very accurate reproduction of a particularly attractive Vanden Plas design of the 30's, with low roof line, swage lines to the wings, and very nicely proportioned from all angles. The car being a 4 ¼ litre is very fast and powerful with a T.Payne-Overdrive and the car is in good condition thorough out, nicely upholstered in blue leather to match the paintwork, driving well, and comes complete with a good quality hood, hood bag and tonneau cover. Very stylish!
