Released in 1959 with the end of production in 2000, the Mini is one of the biggest success stories in the history of the automobile, as demonstrates its successive victories in multiple races, including victories at the Monte Carlo Rally of 1965 and 1967. The Mini had various detail developments, and several limited editions throughout its life, with some preparers bringing their personal touch in terms of customization as per the requests and desires of customers.
This has been the case of this Mini, which was personalized by the company Wood and Pickett, still established in London, and specialized in customizing Minis. The car features a beautiful wooden dashboard that is similar in style to those fitted to the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, a Wood and Pickett leather-covered three-spoke steering wheel, an interior in navy blue leather, bucket seats and a canvas sunroof that takes up the entire surface of the roof. The body differs from the classic mini by fender flares, and it is fitted a sporty aluminum fuel filler cap. Right hand drive, the car was purchased in England by its current owner in 2007. In 2009, the car received a restoration to counter corrosion at certain parts. This "Mini-Rolls" Mini is the perfect car for drives into town and elsewhere.
