The car offered for sale was registered on the road on February 6, 1978 and shows today a mileage of 69939 miles. Originally a Mini Clubman, our car has been transformed into a Mini Countryman at the time of its complete restoration. Registered in France, the car is in our premises in Valence, with a validated technical control and a favorable Histovec and Carvertical report. Its up to date maintenance makes it a vehicle ready to be used every day for any kind of use.

ENGINE AND GEARBOX
Under the hood, the 4-cylinder engine with a one-liter displacement in horizontal position, an architecture due to the Austin Mini's creator, Alec Issigonis, starts without any problem and stabilizes very quickly, without any particular vibration. Once launched on the road, surrounded by vehicles twice as high and powerful, the Mini offers a satisfactory power for its weight with a regular, if not strong, thrust, without jerks. The gearbox is light and easy to use, pleasant to handle in urban traffic. In 2021, an service was carried out and consisted of changing the filters and fluids on this engine, whose reliability has been proven. The simplicity of manufacture and the large parts bank reassures in case of mechanical problems.

EXTERIOR
The Mini lives up to its name with its very restrained proportions. But this Clubman-born model has been transformed into a Countryman version, more "adventurous" and recognizable among thousand thanks to its wooden frame on the bodywork. This one is in a new condition, with perfect adjustments and a beautiful color thanks to its meticulous restoration, or rather its transformation. The paint proposed by the manufacturer at the time is new, offers a nice shine and suits perfectly the car and the added wood perfectly. The chrome front and rear fascias as well as the rims are in excellent condition. There is no trace of corrosion.

INTERIOR
The spacious interior is in perfect condition and is colored red for its leather upholstery that shows no signs of wear. The minimalist dashboard displays all the instrumentation in the center of the dashboard, with large, round counters that are all functional. The rear seat can accommodate small children while the trunk belies the lack of space on these cars, very accessible thanks to its practical trunk opening. The carpets are in good condition as well as the plastics. The sliding windows contribute to the car's offbeat appearance.

CONSUMABLES
The front and rear tires, Falken Sincera SN-807s, all 145/80R10s, are close to new condition, changed in the summer of 2021. The brakes are efficient and show no signs of advanced wear.
