This healey from 1958 is in unique original condition. the two seater bodywork follows the bautiful shape of the 100/4, but now comes with the famous six cylinder engine with its unmistakable healey sound.
After production this car was shipped to the American westcoast ( Oregon ). In 1995 it makes an appearance in the book "Austin Healey 100&3000 "from the American writer John Heilig.
Back then the car was restored by its owner without any signs of welding or replaced bodywork! A bit striking was the light blue interior of which Heilg wrote in his book "this particular colour with the blue seats is a combination that was the choice of the restorer...."the interior was recently changed in black, and, in combination with the black wire wheels this suits the yellow colour perfectly.
In 2009 the car was advertised in Toronto Canada and was bought by a Danish collector. the next eight years it was hardly ever used untill last year when the current owner brought it to Holland and gave it a thorough recomissioning.
