EXTERIOR
Exterior styling on the C5 was kept relatively low profile – ‘understated’ was the buzzword – but the RS6 still boasted bespoke body work (including plenty of black honeycomb front and back, bulging wheels arches, side skirts, deeper bumpers and twin oval exhaust pipes) to go with the rear RS6 badge. The Mugello Blue paint work on this C5 compliments its subtly menacing appearance and is of high standard all round, remaining fresh and bright with only a few minor signs of use.

INTERIOR
In true Audi form, the C5 RS6 is an extremely nice place to be, with a host of creature comforts including heated front and rear seats, Sat nav and BOSE surround sound. The RS6 is an extremely usable daily driver, yet blisteringly quick when tested.

This example’s full leather interior presents in good condition throughout, accentuated by carbon fibre trim to the centre console and door inlays. The leather sports seats often show signs of wear to the susceptible bolsters, however they remain in fantastic condition on this example.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The V8 bi turbo engine has been well looked after by Audi main dealers and specialists. The car has had regular oil changes and ‘health checks’ vital to the efficiency and life of the engine and turbos of these specialist engines.

Twist the key and the engine sounds incredible with a deep and meaningful V8 burble which is further enhanced by the popular and highly regarded Milltek sports exhaust system. The 5-speed auto-box shifts smoothly and is perfect for long hauls; move the stick into semi-auto and the car transforms into a thorough driving pleasure with assistance of flappy paddles for convenience of gear changes.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This C5 is fitted with standard 19-inch alloys finished in Titan Grey. They show in splendid condition with no curb marks or scratches and are all shod in a set of 255/35 Michelin Pilot PA3’s.

The common problematic DRC issues have been rectified by the installation of coil-over spring suspension, a popular and effective solution among enthusiasts.

HISTORY FILE
This RS6 was first registered on the 4th of April 2003 by Stratford Audi and has been regularly maintained by Audi Main Dealers and Specialists from new.

History of work carried out shows regular oil changes and health checks, with total maintenance costs showing in excess of £38,000 it is evident this car has been fastidiously cared for.

The most recent of work includes an extensive service carried out by Audi specialists MRC Tuning in which common gearbox faults were investigated and rectified alongside new front brake discs and pads, ensuring this RS6 is in perfect mechanical health and ready to be thoroughly enjoyed by its next custodian.

The history file includes the original owners manual together with a spare key.
