Audi presented on 1 May 2010 a lighter and more powerful model of the R8 with a V10 engine: the R8 GT. This version is almost 100 kg lighter and has 35 hp more than the normal R8 5.2 FSI. The R8 GT has a maximum power of 560 hp at 8,000 rpm and a torque of 540 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The weight savings were achieved by using lightweight materials such as carbon fibre and plastics. This allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 320 km/h. External changes include a fixed rear spoiler and minor adjustments that promote airflow. The R8 GT is a limited edition of only 333 units.

This Audi with only 48,957 km on the odometer is in very neat and well-maintained condition, it had a new (German) TUV inspection last month (report will be included). The car starts immediately and idles nicely at 800 rpm and brakes properly, it is a car that has always been lovingly maintained and you can really tell. The car is really in mint condition.

The car has dealer maintenance history (stamped). The last service by the dealer was on 16 December 2019 (150 km driven since).
