V10, manual, convertible. That's actually all we need to say. A brilliant combination and a very rare one as well, even by supercar standards. This Audi R8 V10 Spyder has it all. This example is beautifully finished in Sepangblau Metallic, comes from the first owner and has covered only 22.200 km. We dare to say that this is one of the most desirable R8's in the Netherlands.

Convertible enthusiasts had to be patient, but the wait was well worth it: four years after the introduction of the spectacular Audi R8, the Spyder arrived on the scene. With a V10. With the fabric hood folded away, you could now fully enjoy the unique V10 sound. In terms of looks, the Spyder wasn't a downgrade either. In fact, many people think the Spyder looks better than the Coupé.

Like the Coupe version of the R8 V10, the Spyder is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2 liter V10 which delivers its maximum power output of 525 hp at 8,000 rpm. With that you accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a just 4,1 seconds, with a theoretical top speed 313 km/u.

In this example, the V10 sounds even better, thanks to a custom exhaust system. If you don't want to drive with the roof open, but still want to hear the engine, that's also possible because the rear window can be lowered separately. The roof can be opened and closed up to 50 km/h, so you don't have to look for a parking space when rain drops start to appear.

Modifications

The car is equipped with a custom exhaust system (with switchable valve) worth €8.000. Apart from that, the car is completely original. The original exhaust system is supplied with the car as well.

Remarks

The car is in excellent condition. There are only some small signs of wear, as can be seen on the photos:
Small scratch under the right front screen
Minimal scratches on the underside of the front bumper on the left
Tiny dent in the lip at the bottom of the front bumper
The ESC warning light is sometimes on, as a result of the custom exhaust.
