Quattro. A well-known if not the most famous title within the Audi world. Translated from Italian, it means '4'. This is a reference to the all-wheel drive included in the 'Quattro' models. The Audi Quattro has mostly made its name known within rallying. It was first introduced in 1980. It was the first car to combine four-wheel drive with a turbocharged engine. This combination revolutionised the rally world and made the Quattro an icon. In 1981, the Quattro won its first rally and dominated the sport in the following years. Audi continued to develop the Quattro and in 1984 the Sport Quattro was introduced. This car had a shorter wheelbase and was lighter than its predecessor. It was the most successful rally car ever and is still considered one of the most iconic cars ever made.

Our 1984 Audi Quattro is finished in a beautiful 'Alpine White'. This paint makes a nice combination together with the checkered brown fabric upholstery and the 15-inch white wheels. Both the paint and the upholstery are in very clean and original condition. It has a grey skai leather headlining.

In 1984, the Audi rolled out of the factory and into the hands of its first owner. After spending several years in Germany, it was first registered on Dutch plates in 1998 in Nieuwegein. It was then owned by the president/secretary of the Audi coupe/ Quattro Club. A very nice article was then written in the magazine: Autoweek 3-2005. After this, it came into the possession of its previous owner in 2008. This one cherished it for 15 years before it ended up in our hands.

The car has many interesting options such as;

The unique combination of its turbo engine and four-wheel drive offer unprecedented grip and acceleration.

Quattro. Ein bekannter, wenn nicht der berühmteste Titel in der Audi-Welt. Übersetzt aus dem Italienischen bedeutet es '4'. Dies ist eine Anspielung auf den Allradantrieb der "Quattro"-Modelle. Der Audi Quattro hat sich vor allem im Rallyesport einen Namen gemacht. Er wurde erstmals 1980 vorgestellt. Er war das erste Auto, das Allradantrieb mit einem Turbomotor kombinierte. Diese Kombination revolutionierte die Rallye-Welt und machte den Quattro zu einer Ikone. Im Jahr 1981 gewann der Quattro seine erste Rallye und dominierte den Sport in den folgenden Jahren. Audi entwickelte den Quattro weiter und 1984 wurde der Sport Quattro vorgestellt. Dieses Auto hatte einen kürzeren Radstand und war leichter als sein Vorgänger. Es war das erfolgreichste Rallyeauto aller Zeiten und gilt immer noch als eines der kultigsten Autos, die je gebaut wurden.

Unser Audi Quattro von 1984 ist in einem wunderschönen 'Alpine White' lackiert. Diese Farbe bildet eine schöne Kombination mit den karierten braunen Stoffpolstern und den weißen 15-Zoll-Rädern. Sowohl die Farbe als auch die Polsterung sind in einem sehr sauberen und originalen Zustand. Der Innenraum ist mit grauem Skai-Leder ausgestattet.

1984 verließ der Audi das Werk und ging in die Hände seines ersten Besitzers über. Nachdem er einige Jahre in Deutschland verbracht hatte, wurde er 1998 in Nieuwegein erstmals mit niederländischen Kennzeichen zugelassen. Damals war er im Besitz des Präsidenten/Sekretärs des Audi coupe/Quattro Club. Ein sehr schöner Artikel wurde in der Zeitschrift Autoweek 3-2005 veröffentlicht. Danach ging er 2008 in den Besitz seines Vorbesitzers über. Dieser pflegte es 15 Jahre lang, bevor es in unsere Hände gelangte.
