The F89 is the first car produced by Auto Union DKW after the war, and it’s the rare version with F7 engine.

Coupé with aerodynamic line, a 1950s German icon, with beautiful ‘suicide doors’ and Bakelite dashboard.

Car with number plates and registration document in order for transfer of ownership in Italy and Europe, valid inspection October 2021. Approved for 5 seats.

This car is an old restoration, very solid vehicle, which still looks good with a beautiful old patina.
It was owned for many years by a German enthusiast before being imported into Italy.
The German number plate is known (VECD7H).

The engine has just received a complete overhaul of gaskets with cylinder disassembled from the car (as shown in photos). Dashboard is in excellent condition, interior is in the original herringbone fabric.

Gearbox was fully overhauled with all new gears, and new seals and bushings.

The original 6V electrical system was completely overhauled and is in fully working order (the rod indicators are slow and don’t always work, a typical flaw of this type).

All the extremely rare details are in place and are fascinating: the headlights, rear lights, Audi-branded keys, etc. It really is a very original car.

The floor is solid, and the doors and bonnets open and close smoothly.

The car starts immediately and drives.

The bodywork was checked with feeler gauge, with excellent results and no accidents detected (as shown in photos).
