Description

This lovely car was originally supplied by Aston Martin to established Aston Martin owner, Professor Dr Muller of Koblenz in Germany. Supplied on a personal export basis, it originally took a UK registration was and remained with the first owner until June 1998 when it was acquired by a Dr Mühlberger in the same city. All the details of the export, the car’s original invoicing and the Fahrzeugbrief (German registration document) are in an extensive history folder given to us by the current owner.
It was acquired by its third and current keeper in Holland in September 2001 – a classic car enthusiast whose enthusiasm is reflected not only on the detailed care that has been lavished on his Aston Martin but also the car that shares garage space with the Aston – a beautiful 1965 Mercedes Benz 250 SEC.
It is also interesting to note that the folder includes TÜV certificate as well as Dutch RDW Certificates – equivalent to UK MOT Certificates. This is just part of a history that can instil confidence in the intrinsic quality of the car as does the professional appraisal carried out by a Dutch expert in May 2018 that concludes “Overall Condition – Very Good” and a further inspection carried out by Aston Martin Heritage dealer Aston Martin Michiels in February 2019 which concluded in the same way
It is a car to acquire with confidence with the sound evidence of maintenance right up to the present day – this is not a classic where the owner has lost interest, he has continued to invest for the car’s future.
If proof of the driveability of this car was needed, the owner drove it from Holland to the UK when we put it on sale - she is a great car, a great drive
