In 1993 the V8 Vantage was launched as a high-performance version of the Virage, the biggest change was the engine, the 5.3-litre V8 received twin-superchargers helping it produce 550hp. To help this 1990kg car stop, huge 362mm ventilated discs and API Racing 4-pot calipers were equipped. Later, in 1998 a V600 version with 600hp was introduced, this example is one of the 239 regular V550s. This car has been very carefully maintained by its owner, for example the driver’s seat has been covered and the pale beige leather is in immaculate condition.
