1994 Aston Martin V550 Coupe

One of the last Astons to be hand-built at Newport Pagnell. No other car of the 1990s could propel its drivers & passengers with such speed and in such comfort as the Aston Martin V550.

Continuing on from the Virage, only the roof and doors were carried over. The name V550 was used to signify the power that saw the car surge to a blistering speed of 186mph and passing 60mph in just 4.6 seconds. The 5340cc V8 was fitted with not one, but twin Eaton superchargers that all together produced 550 bhp and 550 lb ft of torque. To put it in perceptive that almost on par with a Lamborghini Diablo or Ferrari 550 Maranello.

To stop such a powerful car the V550 was fitted with 362 mm diameter ventilated discs and four piston AP Racing callipers fitted to the front of the car which the largest front disk and calipers to any production car at the time.

Bordeaux carpeting & contrasting red dashtop & rear shelf. These cars are generously equipped for the time, with fully electric seats, heated of course ! Our car is particularly rare in that is was converted back in the day, by Aston Martin works service, to Automatic transmission, & therefore makes for a supremely comfortable & easy car to live with.
