​Under the hood of the Vanquish Volante is a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine, which produces 576 horsepower. The most notable improvement for this model year is the abandonment of the six-speed automatic transmission in favor of a new eight-speed transmission, still with a torque converter, sourced from ZF. Thanks to this configuration, the Volante can reach 100 km/h in approximately 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 324 km/h. The very responsive V12 offers a distinctive and powerful sound, reinforcing the driving pleasure, especially with the top down.

​The Vanquish Volante's chassis is made of lightweight aluminium, reinforced with carbon fibre elements, which provides increased structural rigidity despite the convertible body. The roof can be opened or closed in just 14 seconds, even at low speeds. The choice of fabric helps maintain a low centre of gravity and minimise weight compared to a hardtop.

​The exterior design, with its muscular lines, pronounced air intakes and boomerang-shaped rear lights, gives the car an aerodynamic look.
