"This extremely rare, limited edition, Aston Martin was made to celebrate the end of the production of the last hand-built car to be produced at Newport Pagnell in July 2007 after 49 years of operations. Aston Martin took the decision to produce the Vanquish S Ultimate Edition, fittingly called the Ultimate Edition. Production was in limited numbers with just 50 produced of which only 20 were in right hand drive.
Manufactured on 19th July 2007 and registered on 1st August 2007, this right hand drive Aston Martin was the very last car that came off the production line at Newport Pagnell and therefore has a significant historic value. Signalling the end of an era from one of the most iconic manufactures in the world, this Vanquish S Ultimate Edition could be described as the ultimate car for any serious collector! As with all of the last 50 cars produced, this example is finished in Ultimate Black with black semi-aniline leather with contrasting stitching and leather headlining. The fastidious vendor is a classic car enthusiast and has enjoyed owning this stunning example although totally respects the uniqueness of this Aston Martin. Hence the reason why throughout his stewardship the car has always been professionally stored and well cared for. The last service was carried out on 29th September 2020 by R.S.Williams Ltd at 8,221 miles. These super stylish British built cars are magnificent to look at and even better to drive. Turn the ignition on press the button and wait for the 6.0 litre V12 to burst into life. Few cars equal the driving experience of a Vanquish S, the superb ergonomics together with such an impressive throttle response combine to make this a very memorable encounter. This example is supplied with a V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate valid until 17th September 2021, the original service books and a collection of invoices as well as a letter from Aston Martin Works Service confirming chassis number ‘502593’ is the last new car ever to be produced at the Tickford Street site.
