The first generation V12 Vanquish, codenamed ‘AMV03’, was designed by Ian Callum and presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2001. It appeared in the 20th instalment of the James Bond saga, ‘Die Another Day’, released in November 2002. In 2004, Aston Martin decided to develop a more powerful version of the Vanquish. The Sport version of the Vanquish was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show with an improved aluminium and carbon fibre chassis, sharper steering and a slightly altered appearance with the addition of a new spoiler integrated into the boot lid and a new front diffuser. The 520bhp Vanquish V12 S, capable of reaching 322kph, was the last model to be built at the Newport Pagnell factory after almost 50 years of production, and it was hand-built for a limited and exclusive run of around 711 examples in LHD configuration.

The model we are offering for sale was delivered new to Germany in 2005, before being imported to France the following year.
