Description

In 1998 at the Detroit car show, one made a huge sensation, the Aston Martin « Project Vantage », designed by Ian Callum, the inspiration behind the DB7 and Jaguar XK8. It was immediately acclaimed as one of the most beautiful cars ever.
Its technology and modernity were also sensational with its chassis built of a mix of carbon and aluminium and a full aluminum body mated to the all new 6.0 liter V12 engine.
Very few thought Aston would be able to build in series production such an ambitious car, but this exceptional car builder left no-one in any  doubt that this would be tomorrow’s Aston Martin. Indeed the Vanquish marks the rebirth of Aston Martin and when launched in 2001 it surprised everyone, being extremely close to the « Project Vantage » concept car.
With its sculptural lines and charismatic V12 engine this is purely a connoisseurs’ car, undoubtably an iconic and eminently collectible item. The Vanquish represents a certain refinement and state of mind where passion and aesthetics have more value than pure performance. This is a very desirable car  and surely the most distinguished « thumb raiser » of the 2000s.

This stunning Vanquish was ordered by a discerning first owner in midnight blue. Inside there is a beautiful combination of Caspian Blue and Cream Truffle Connolly leather complemented by blue carpets, color-matched floor mats and the headlining in cream suede.
It was delivered new via Monaco dealer British Motors in May 2002 and was meticulously maintained by its owner until 2013 when it was sold to a notary in Brussels. The car has a full and comprehensive Aston Martin service history since new and also received some upgrades such as the gearbox. It received a new clutch in 2014 at 39,000km and more recently the complete renewal of the suspension bushes, a full set of tires and replacement of the starter motor. Since 2013 the car has been maintained to the highest standards by the renowned Aston Martin Bruxelles garage which is one of the most reputable Vanquish specialists in Europe.
The car has covered 48,900 km and is presented in impeccable condition. Although many Vanquishes suffer from various "gremlins", this example on a recent test drive, performed faultlessly, and revealed a car that drove impeccably, a pure joy for the driver.

The Vanquish is a fabulous Aston Martin, historically surely one of the most important and it also belongs to the top ten of the most stunning coupes ever made. This superb example would delight a connoisseur and offer him the most unforgettable Vanquish experience.
