1980 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Delivered when new at the end of 1980, finished in Sebring Blue with Dark Blue Connolly hides, this highly original and superb V8 Vantage is available for the first time in 34 years.

Of the 367 V8 Vantages built, just 5 left the factory finished in Sebring Blue, only one of which had Dark Blue hides. Supplied when new via Aston Martin Sales Ltd in London, the first owner maintained the car through Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell, prior to the car passing hands to its second and last enthusiast owner. Now with a total of just 78,700 miles covered, this extremely well-maintained example of Britons first supercar, has a complete service history from the second owner with renowned and highly experienced Aston Martin specialists, all documented within the car’s comprehensive history file.

Subjected to major preservation works in 2012, with expenditure totalling £74,000, the car has covered less than 2,000 miles since completion and been used only on occasional short trips.

Still equipped with its original specifications, including the optional dashboard mounted Pioneer ‘graphic equalizer’, road wheels have been upgraded to later, post 1986 factory supplied Vantage 16’’ wheels and Michelin Pilot sport tyres, complementing the uprated anti roll bar as fitted. A combination which gives the car improved precision on the road.
