1979 Aston Martin V8 Manual

Finished in its original distinctive Kentucky Blue livery with Magnolia piped dark Blue hide interior and restored complete with upgrades.

The October 1978 Birmingham International Motor show saw the introduction of a new and updated V8 body design, with interior improvements and upgrades, adding to the luxury and performance qualities of the V8 range.

This tastefully specified 1979 example, has recently been treated to a chassis and body restoration. Works included a bare metal repaint and complete interior retrim, including all hides, new Wilton carpeting and interior finishers re-veneered. Simultaneously the cars suspension received a total rebuild, incorporating upgraded components including a Harvey Bailey front anti roll bar and the brakes replaced with AP uprated discs, pads and calipers. A substantial history file accompanying the car, demonstrates the comprehensive works, all carried out by respected Aston Martin specialists to the high standard as presented.

Equipped with the optional ZF 5-speed manual gearbox, this example of the AMV8 provides spirited performance with excellent Grand Touring capabilities, being both rapid and comfortable to drive and with ample rear passenger and boot space.

Rare to find with this level of restorative works completed, in this condition and at this price point, this well specified AMV8 cannot fail to be admired and surely be enjoyed, as intended when first built.
