Description
The 2017 Aston Martin GT8... 1 Owner... Only 2800km... National Origin... Only 50 Units LHD and Manual Transmission. It is one of the most special and exclusive models produced by Aston Martin in the modern era. Introduced in 2016, it was developed as a lighter, more aggressive, and more focused on sporty driving version of the V8 Vantage, incorporating many solutions directly inspired by competition. With a limited production of only 150 units, it quickly became an object of desire among collectors and enthusiasts of the brand. Under the hood is the well-known 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, capable of delivering 440 horsepower and 490 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automated manual transmission. Thanks to a significant weight reduction of around 100 kg compared to a conventional Vantage, the GT8 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of over 300 km/h. Much of this weight reduction was achieved through the extensive use of carbon fiber in body components, the adoption of a titanium exhaust system, and the elimination of some comfort elements considered unnecessary for a performance-oriented car. The result is a more direct, communicative car with a more immediate response to driver commands. Visually, the GT8 stands out with a much more radical appearance than other models in the range. The enormous rear wing, the pronounced diffuser, the front splitter, and the various aerodynamic components serve not only to create visual impact but also to improve stability and grip at high speeds. The interior maintains the characteristic luxury of Aston Martin, but with a sportier approach, favoring lightweight materials and an atmosphere inspired by the world of racing. One of the most appreciated characteristics of this model is its analog nature. At a time when many sports cars began to use turbocharged engines, excessively assisted steering, and complex electronic systems, the GT8 preserved a purer driving experience. The naturally aspirated engine offers progressive power delivery and an intense, unmistakable sound, while the rear-wheel drive and tuned chassis provide a very direct connection between the car and the driver. Currently, the Aston Martin GT8 is considered one of the brand's most collectible models. The combination of extremely limited production, naturally aspirated V8 engine, manual gearbox option, and strong racing inspiration makes it seen by many as one of the most exciting and authentic Aston Martins produced in the 21st century. More than just a high-performance car, the GT8 represents a celebration of pure driving and traditional British engineering.becoming a very special piece in Aston Martin's history.
