This series 2 Aston Martin V8 is 1 of only 288 produced, making it one of the most rare and collectable V8 models built and an exceptional investment opportunity. This four-seat grand tourer underwent a comprehensive restoration, which included a bare metal respray to electric blue and the fitting of grey leather trim, as seen today.

During its life, it was sold to Harry Vanda, the lead guitarist and songwriter of The Easy beats. Today, after only moderate use, it has a mere 58,294 miles on the odometer. The car has aged gracefully, and the colour scheme is striking, with the paint remaining in great condition. All the external trim, chrome and glass are also in very good condition. The interior exudes luxury as leather, carpets, headlining, trim and instruments are in good condition.

The 5.3L fuel injected V8 engine runs smooth and very responsive. It has good oil pressure and the automatic transmission shifts effortlessly. This car is in outstanding running order and comes with an original bound Owners Instruction Book, service receipts and restoration photos.

Each car was hand built taking around 1200 man-hours to finish. To quote Aston Martin's own publicity - 'Here's styling and power lovingly conceived by individuals' intent on achieving the ultimate in touring car perfection.' Such was its appeal that it would be built in a number of series for nearly another two decades.
