2016 ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH CARBON BLACK

Embrace the dark side said Aston Martin on launching the Vanquish Carbon in 2014, shortly before its public debut at the Paris Motorshow. The new special edition Vanquish, available in Carbon Black or Stratus White, featured numerous meticulous cosmetic details as standard, including black side window surrounds, black textured tailpipes, full-grain Obsidian Black luxmill leather interior and black hardware pack, carbon fibre wing mirror caps, roof panel and side strakes and machine forged carbon fibre sill plaques to, in the case of the Carbon Black edition, give a striking and sinister appearance.

Our research, using data supplied by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, confirms that just 190 Coupe’s were produced for global consumption, in both colour ways, with 63 UK right hand drive examples in Carbon Black.

It is one of those said cars that we are now pleased to offer to market, with low mileage and in immaculate condition throughout, testament to its cherished ownership and comprehensive service regime.

First introduced in 2012, the Vanquish, positioned as the ultimate super grand tourer, evolved the design of its predecessor, the DBS and incorporated in its manufacture the use of Carbon fibre body panels, the first production Aston Martin to do so, in order to restrain its kerb weight to 1739kg. Aston Martin’s 5.9 litre V12 engine was upgraded for the Vanquish to 565bhp, providing enough power to propel the Vanquish to a quoted top speed of 201mph. The 2015 model year Vanquish received several upgrades, the most significant of which was the introduction of the 8-speed Touchtronic III gearbox and the engine, now to AM29 spec, revised with a little more power (568bhp) and torque (630nm) but incredibly less emissions and better fuel economy due to the new Bosch engine management system.

This 2016 model year example was first registered in May 2016 and is finished in AML Carbon Black over Obsidian Black hides with contrasting silver stitching.

In addition to the luxurious Vanquish Carbon Black specifications, which include Bang & Olufsen 1000w audio and reverse parking camera, notable options on this car include; dark anodised brake calipers, full length Herringbone carbon fascia trim, Aston Martin wings headrest embroidery, 20” 10-spoke forged gloss black alloy wheels with diamond turned faces, Obsidian Black hide headlining with Argento Grey welt, One77 leather steering wheel and an Aston Martin umbrella. Having completed just 7,229 miles from new, as confirmed by our pre-sale inspection this car is in immaculate condition throughout. Serviced annually by Aston Martin main agents, including its scheduled service in June 2022, when it was also treated to a new set of rear tyres, this timelessly designed Vanquish, considered by many to be Aston Martins finest ever GT car, is now ready to be enjoyed this forthcoming motoring season.
