Description
"The Rapide is a four-door, four-seater, high-performance sports saloon, which Aston Martin introduced in early 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2006 and the production version was shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rapide name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a four-door, four-seater saloon produced by Lagonda, now a part of Aston Martin. The new Rapide is the company's first four-door fastback saloon since the Lagonda which was discontinued in 1990. It is based on the DB9 and underpinned by the Aston Martin VH platform. The first cars rolled off the production line in May 2010, initially built at a dedicated plant at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria.
Originally registered on 16th October 2010 this Rapide presents in beautiful condition. The black coachwork is unmarked as is the cream leather interior. The first owner of this car was Sir Richard Olver who was the chairman of BAE Systems when this car was purchased new. He owned the car until 2021 when it was purchased by the current registered keeper. Having only covered 23,223 miles from new and with a detailed Aston Martin service history this Rapide presents in absolutely fabulous condition. Supplied with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 7th February 2025, are you ready to go and enrol in the V12, four-seater gentleman's club! The Rapide is one of the most responsive and aesthetically pleasing saloons of the 21st century and it’s coupled with one of the best-sounding 6.0 litre V12 engines money can buy. Consignor Stewart Banks.
