The DBS Volante has now established itself as one of the most highly regarded models of the Gaydon production era and remains one of our most requested models, evidenced by the dwindling numbers available on the various car listing portals. Produced for just 3 years, a total of just 846 examples were built, for global consumption.

During the production run, a number of limited-edition model variants were offered by Aston Martin, including the ‘Carbon Black’ Edition, announced in 2010. The Carbon Black edition featured bespoke Carbon Black metallic paint especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep rich patina. Bang & Olufsen 1000W audio was included as standard along with Obsidian Black leather with contrast silver stitching, piano black fascia trim, gloss black and diamond turned alloy wheels and magnum silver meshes. A bright finished grille and front parking sensors (normally an option) complete the exterior detailing.

Whilst not a numbered limited edition, the Carbon Black Edition was limited to just a single car per dealer but our sources at the Aston Martin Heritage Trust have confirmed that just 87 cars were delivered worldwide, 31 RHD for the UK. All were specified with Touchtronic 2 Transmission. The price of the Carbon Black edition was approximately 5% higher than a standard DBS Volante.

The superb 2012 model year example we are now delighted to offer was first registered in September 2011 and benefits from annual servicing, to schedule, at Aston Martin main agents throughout its life.
