Description
It may sound like a cliché, but the Aston Martin DBS is the embodiment of Daniel Craig, er…James Bond – athletic and virile, but always well dressed! The beautiful lines sculpted by Ian Callum hide an aluminum and carbon fiber chassis that make this sculpture on wheels a true supercar!
The heart of this (little) secret agent is the well-known 6.0 liter V12 block, here delivering 510 horsepower and capable of dispatching the bad guy, correction, 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.
In the movies, the man with the License to Kill had to use a manual transmission, but with this DBS, thanks to the acclaimed 6-speed ZF Touchtronic 2 transmission, driving is more relaxed. However, in Sport mode, and using the magnesium shifters that lurk behind the steering wheel, gear changes are determined and aggressive, which guarantees an overwhelming driving experience.
In total, only 1809 units of the DBS were produced, and production ceased in 2012 with the launch of the new Vanquish, which makes the DBS a very rare and exclusive car.
This unit, with only 11,000 km on it, is equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and electric heated seats with memory
