Description

There is no more classic combination than Aston Martin and James Bond, making it fitting that the DBS model would debut in the film Casino Royale. Designed to replace the Vanquish, the DBS was based on the contemporary DB9 but equipped with a 510 hp version of Aston Martin’s famous V-12 and an extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminum to reduce weight.

This 2009 DBS was ordered from The Collection in Coral Gables, Florida, in this timeless black over black color combination, and has been driven just over 7,000 miles since new. This car was optioned with the desirable six-speed manual gearbox, which was selected on just 984 examples, or only about one-third of total DBS production. The original owner also specified the rare 2+0 seating option, removing the rear seats and creating a parcel shelf behind the driver and passenger. The car remained with its original owner in Florida for four years before its sale to the Southwest, subsequently moving between New Mexico and Texas. In 2017, the car was exported to Switzerland where it resided in a significant private collection until its return to the US in 2019.

This car is accompanied by its factory battery tender, data sheet, Swiss import documents, ownership records, and a CARFAX Vehicle History Report. This Aston Martin DBS represents the end of an era for the manual gearbox V-12 grand touring car, and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.
