This DBS V8 is in excellent condition and has benefitted from a lifetime of regular maintenance and upgrading to ensure it has been kept in perfect working order. The in-depth history file shows it has wanted for nothing. Exported to Germany in 2012, this RHD example is ready either for European roads or imported back into the UK.

With a service history spanning 50 years, the list of works is extensive but the following major works have been undertaken since 1990:

• 1991 – Opus electronic ignition fitted by DJR Services.
• 1994 – Major chassis restoration to sills, outriggers, radius arm mounts and jacking points by DJR Services.
• 1997 – Engine compression test and full tune by Andy Chapman.
• 1997 – Harvey Bailey front and rear handling kits fitted by Andy Chapman.
• 2005 – Further chassis restoration works by AGP Vehicle Repairs.
• 2006 – Further engine tuning and enhancements by Aston Martin Lagonda.
• 2012 – Interior retrimmed to black leather in Germany.

Over the past three decades, the engine has been serviced, tuned and components upgraded by specialists such as DJR Services and Andy Chapman as well as by the AML factory in Newport Pagnell. During this time, the engine bay has undergone continuous maintenance and upgrading, replacing many older parts with modern versions.

Almost every part of the car has been serviced, maintained and even upgraded over its life with work and parts supplied by various specialists such as Ian Mason, Goodwood Green, HWM and RS Williams. Prior to export in 2012, all servicing and upgrade works were undertaken by Trinity Engineering. Since exporting, all regular servicing and maintenance work has been undertaken locally.

The ‘petrol blue’ paintwork and the black leather interior are a perfect contrast and like the rest of the car are in a lovely condition. The Motolita wood rimmed steering finishes off the interior with an elegant touch, giving a hint of modernity too.

With a German MOT until March 2023, a valid FIVA certificate and ready to drive, this car is realistically priced to sell whether it is to stay in Europe or to be imported back into the UK.

Note - if importing back into the UK, HMRC has confirmed that this will incur a 5% VAT charge on the sale price.
