This was absolutely the top model. In 2002 Aston Martin did not have any models in its range that came close to this Aston Martin DB7 5.9 V12 Vantage Volante Touchtronic. It was the most luxurious, exclusive and fastest Aston Martin of its day. In our subjective opinion it is also the most beautiful one of the bunch, especially in its brilliant “Antrim Blue” metallic paint with full red-leather interior trim. The car simply radiates understated elegance. It just shouts British class. The car was supplied by Kroymans importer in 2002. The Aston Martin DB7 was the first model designed by Ian Callum. In over 25 years since she debuted we can not come to any other conclusion that the Aston Martin DB7 design has not aged. Over and above the car’s lovely lines, the quality of this specific example is certainly worth mentioning. The bodywork is perfect. The pristine bodywork has lovely thin and correctly aligned panelwork. The mainly original paintwork is in a very good state. It is often the little things that show the car has been lovingly owned. For instance just admire the wonderful condition of the blue piped red leather or the four wheels that are completely free from any curb scuff marks. The carpets are also in wonderful condition and, of course, the electric hood is perfect. The 5.9 litre V12 is the star of the show. The engine delivers an enormous 542 Nm at 5,000 revs and 414 PS at 6,000 revs. The V12 engine runs silky smooth, the true tech person also knows a 60 degree V12 engines run so smoothly because they have a perfect configuration in order to avoid vibration and that 12 cylinders guarantee always 3 cylinders are in power stroke. Put plainly there is nothing a smooth as a good V12. This enormous power plant takes the DB7 from 0 to 100 km/hr 5.2 seconds with a top of 266 km/hr. For most of its life the car was maintained by Kroymans and more recently by specialist engineers. We could readily notice the good mechanical care equalled the care afforded to its exterior. The car’s lovely supple drive is down to correct use during its life. Cars that have stood idle simply tend not to be that pleasant to drive. Finally this Aston Martin DB7 has a number of nice accessories such as the

wind breaker, the Becker Sat-Nav, air-conditioning, electric seats and a CD exchanger. This is a unique opportunity to purchase 2002’s most beautiful car in the finest colours.
