Description

"Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993, the Ian Callum styled DB7 began production in 1994 at a new factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. It was engineered in conjunction with Tom Walkinshaw’s TWR group who built the new supercharged six-cylinder engine. In 1999, the new DB7 Vantage with a V12 engine was revealed. It didn’t just bring a new powertrain but more aggressive styling with a bigger front grille, new fog, side and indicator lights and imposing 18” wheels. The Vantage interior leather trim was cut and sewn at a special trim shop at Newport Pagnell where the carpet and wood veneers were also prepared. With the launch of the new V12 engine in the DB7 Vantage, production of the earlier straight-six DB7 ended in mid-1999.
This superb Aston Martin was originally registered on 25th January 2002 and is finished in Bowland Black with Charcoal leather interior. Manufactured with a manual gearbox, this DB7 GTS also has satellite navigation, heated front screen, sports steering wheel and power folding door mirrors. Further enhancements were made when the car was new by Aston Martin Sales of Mayfair, these include Zagato style bonnet bulges, mesh grille, colour coded alloy wheels, sports exhaust and white GTS instruments. There were seven cars commissioned by Aston Martin Sales of Mayfair this is number one of seven.A superb service history accompanies this rare Aston Martin with 16 services having been carried out 11 of them by Aston Martin Works Service. The car is supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 6th July 2021. Without doubt this is one of the best DB7 GTS’s available today taking into account the condition, mileage and provenance.
