The Aston Martin DB7 was produced from September 1994 to December 2004 and was designed by Ian Callum and Keith Helfet as a grand tourer, available as a coupé and convertible. The prototype was completed as early as November 1992 and made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1993. The six-cylinder DB7, based on the Jaguar AJ6 engine, was positioned at the time as an entry-level model beneath the hand-built V8 Virage. With over 7,000 units built, the DB7 became the most-produced Aston Martin to date, until it was succeeded by the DB9 in 2004.

In 1999, Aston Martin introduced the more powerful DB7 V12 Vantage at the Geneva Motor Show. It is equipped with the 5.9-litre 48-valve V12 engine, producing 426 hp and 542 Nm of torque, with a compression ratio of 10.3:1. Buyers could choose between a six-speed manual gearbox (TREMEC T-56) or a five-speed automatic (ZF 5HP30). Aston Martin quoted a top speed of 299 km/h (186 mph) with the manual and 266 km/h (165 mph) with the automatic, with 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) in 4.9 seconds. The V12 Vantage measures 4,692 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and 1,243 mm in height, and weighs 1,800 kg. Visually, the Vantage is distinguished from the standard six-cylinder DB7 by different door mirrors, larger fog lamps beneath the headlights, and "DB7 Vantage" badges at the rear. Following the launch of the Vantage, sales of the base DB7 declined significantly, leading to the end of its production in mid-1999.

This car

The DB7 V12 Vantage offered here is finished in metallic green with a brown/green leather interior that remains in perfect condition. The car is equipped with an automatic gearbox that shifts flawlessly, and has covered just 68,684 km. The car holds a German registration.

The maintenance history is excellently documented: an extensive file of invoices and TÜV inspection reports is available, dating back to 2004. This includes several Hauptuntersuchung (TÜV/roadworthiness) reports from 2005 through 2021, various Abgasuntersuchung (emissions test) reports, service invoices from recognised workshops (including Youngtimer Bayern), a comprehensive major service carried out in 2021 (including brakes, tyres, and work on the airbag/seatbelt tensioner), and a stamped service book, last stamped at 67,775 km — the odometer currently reads approximately 68,400 km, meaning the car has barely been driven since.

In short: a highly luxurious, well-documented, and exceptionally well-preserved Aston Martin DB7 V12 Vantage.
