More than 200,000 Swiss francs was the new price for an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage coupe in the year 2000. For this money the buyer received a very exclusive luxury sports car with a six litre V12 engine, 420 hp, a 6 speed manual gearbox, power steering, air conditioning, and a most opulent leather interior. Our example is a Swiss delivery and was first registered on the 8th June 2000. Finished in British racing green with a two-tone Connolly leather interior in beige and green, the most elegant coupé couldn‘t be more British. The first owner clearly cherished his Aston and only used it for occasional fair-weather outings. In autumn 2012, at 38’000 kilometres driven, the crankshaft and all con rod bearings as well as a con rod had to be replaced because of a conrod damage. Since the engine was removed anyway a new clutch was installed at the same time.
