Description

- Concours Restauration
- Matching colors & numbers
- Most desired Drophead Coupe (DHC)-version

The DB2/4 was one of the fastest production cars of its time, how did they manage with such a modest engine capacity to produce such a fast yet a very comfortable and luxurious car? The Bentley Drivers' Club even called it "the fastest shooting brake in the world". The biggest modifications of the new 2+2 seating arrangement with its 2nd row of seats allowed for a comfortable ride with the entire family. In addition to the 2nd row of seats, the DB 2/4 had a more powerful Vantage version of the 2.6-liter engine, a curved windshield instead of the DB2's finned windshield, higher-set headlights, and more clunky and solid bumpers.

Our Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead coupe is one of just 102 examples ever built, if this is not rare enough, the car is fully matching numbers and colors and has been restored to concours condition recently. Its beautiful Imperial Crimson body color was expertly repainted, and the interior was re-upholstered to the highest standards. No expense was spared in this restoration, which can be perfectly substantiated with the extensive restoration file that is present with the car. The car has not driven 100 miles since its restoration and is therefore completely, better than ever, new! The first owner H. Yeomans was clearly a man of taste if one looks at the exceptional specifications of this beautiful specimen, we could not have done better ourselves.

The engine runs and drives as well as it looks, completely overhauled and like new both inside and out, just like the rock solid 4-speed gearbox that makes shifting gears a pleasure again. The car offers the necessary comfort for a quiet touring drive on Sunday but has more than enough power to get the sporty out of the car and on top of that she is very easy to handle , what more could you want from a car?

This beautiful Aston Martin DB2/4 is the top of the list and in an exceptionally beautiful condition, also one of the most coveted models by the real collectors and rare to find in this condition. No costs to be foreseen, ready for years of driving pleasure!

Come discover it now at Rock 'N Roll Classics!
