Our example is one of these, the convertible of the range. Equipped with the optional Vantage engine, it was delivered new from the Brook Lands dealership in London in 1953. We know from the Aston Martin Register that in 1975 the car was owned by a certain G.H Brown and was registered NUV 923. Rediscovered in questionable condition by its former owner, a Dutchman, in the 1970s, when he acquired the car.
In 1998, he began a complete and documented restoration. The work was completed in 2005.
Today, the car is presented in blue, with a red interior and cream soft top, and is in excellent condition. Its current owner acquired it in 2011. Since its restoration, this car has covered just 11,000 miles.
Mechanically, it is also in very good condition, as attested by its technical inspection and the road test carried out by us.
