Description

The Aston Martin DB2 Drophead was one of 102 Dropheads produced between May 1950 to April 1953 and benefited from VB6B Vantage engine with the 2600cc engine producing 105bhp.

This beautiful DB2 Drophead was first supplied by Inskip in the USA to Mr. Irwin Finkelstein of Floral Park, New York on 29 August 1952.

Supplied new in Jubilee Blue with Beige trim and Beige hood covering.

In 2016 the car was repatriated back to the UK where it underwent a total body-off restoration to the owner's own specification. Again, Jubilee Blue with blue leather interior and a dark blue Mohair hood covering and the two small rear windows.

The car drives like no other, smooth, quiet with the lovely exhaust note from the twin tailpipes. The attention to detail is quite breathtaking and worthy of any Concours or show.
