Launched in 1989, the Alpine GTA Mille Miles had the dual purpose of celebrating the brand's anniversary and its sporting achievements, while marking the return of Alpine as a commercial brand. This series, limited to 100 units, saw the return of the legendary blue logo on its hood. Derived from the GTA V6 Turbo, it received a specific presentation, including rims featuring turbine blades, as well as unique pearly red color and improved equipment. The car on offer bears the number 94 and is therefore part of the series of the last 20 units equipped with air-conditioning.
Delivered to the Garage du Lion d'Or in Deauville and registered on 16 August 1989, this Alpine was purchased from its first owner in 2002 when it had covered just over 12,000 km since new. It was the grandfather of the current owner, a famous car collector, who acquired it to offer it to his son, before his grandson became the owner in 2013. It has covered less than 20,000 km from new and is in a rare state of preservation, having never been repainted and being in strictly original condition with all the specific details making the model so interesting. In working condition but having been driven only a little in recent years, it will need to be serviced before being able to enjoy it in an optimal way. Coming with its original homologation form, its user manual and its period advertising leaflet, this Mille Miles will appeal to the most demanding of enthusiasts.
