All our comments come to almost the same conclusion: according to many, this Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 is one of the most beautiful designs of its time. This 1960 Spider 2000 Touring started its wonderful life in Billancourt France. Around 1980 the car ended up in California USA to make the crossing to the Netherlands in 2016. Part of the restoration had already started in the USA, but that was not done in a way that does justice to the car. That’s why the current owner took the decision to tackle it rigorously and simply start over. And this time to have it done by a real specialist. The mixture of chic and sporty also applies to the grandiose driving of the car. The power is enough to achieve smooth performance, but it is also possible to tour the car very quietly. To be honest, this four-cylinder drives better than its brother equipped with the heavy six-cylinder engine. You can feel that the car is better balanced due to its lower weight in the front, which improves handling and road holding. A very enjoyable car.
