Unique Alfa Romeo Giuliettta Sprint Special. Also known as Giulietta SS. Designed by Franco Scaglione who worked for design house Bertone at the time. Only 1,366 copies of the Sprint Speciale were made. Equipped with a powerful 1300 engine with about 100 HP. This engine and gearbox came directly from the race-oriented Giulietta Sprint Zagato. The beautiful and super aerodynamic body has a drag coefficient of only 0.28, which was unique at the time! And it wasn't surpassed until 20 years later.

This SS was restored and technically overhauled some time ago. The car is equipped with twin Weber carburettors, disc brakes at the front and a 5-speed manual transmission. The Alfa is in very neat condition, so it concerns a recent restoration. The car has been addressed both technically and optically. The vehicle starts directly and idles nicely at 900 rpm and the gearbox shifts smoothly and powerfully through all its gears, truly a pleasure to drive.

The Alfa Romeo brakes properly and the engine bay looks very fresh and well maintained. The car has a beautiful light grey interior which looks great with the 'Alfa Rosso' paint that is still in very good condition. The car shows that the past owner has always maintained it with love (and stored it indoors).

Also, in January of 2021, the car obtained a Dutch license and a new Dutch periodic vehicle inspection (without expiry date, because of its age). So it’s ready to be enjoyed immediately.
