This Alfa-Romeo Sprint Veloce ‘Alleggrita’ is one of only 600 produced by the brand between 1956 and 1958. An ultra-specific racing car, this Alfa-Romeo has aluminium doors and Plexiglas windows. Our French example is in superb condition and has a full history.

Delivered new in Paris on 05 December 1956, the car was registered 254 GR 75. It changed hands for the first time in 1962 and ended up in the Var region, where it took part in a number of vintage rallies and races.

Purchased in 1968 by the third owner, the car moved to Isère and continued to compete in local races. In 2007, the car was again seen in the south-west of France, and the current owner bought it in 2022.

This Sprint Veloce is in superb overall condition and very authentic. It has all its period fittings, is still in its original colour configuration and has a Sprint Veloce engine block.

Repainted more than 15 years ago, the car is sound and homogeneous. The underpinnings are sound and free from deformation. A full appraisal report is available.

Meticulously maintained, the car is up to date and will not cost its future buyer anything. A major service was carried out by a specialist in the model for the sale.
