This Alfa Romeo Sprint Veloce “Alleggerita” is one of only 600 examples produced by the brand between 1956 and 1958. A race car with highly specific features, this Alfa Romeo has aluminum body panels and plexiglass windows. Delivered new in Paris on December 5, 1956, the car was registered 254 GR 75. It changed hands for the first time in 1962 and moved to the Var region, where it took part in many rallies and period races.

In 1968, it was purchased by its third owner, who brought the car to Isère, where it continued competing in local races. The car was later found in southwestern France in 2007, and the current owner acquired it in 2022.

This Sprint Veloce is presented in superb overall and highly authentic condition. It retains all its period fittings, still wears its original color configuration, and features a correct Sprint Veloce engine block.

Repainted over 15 years ago, the car remains solid and consistent. The underbody is sound and free from any deformation. A complete appraisal report is available.
