The car is presented in the iconic Rosso Alfa paintwork combined with a black interior. It is also fitted with front seats sourced from a GTV.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia is an integral part of Italian automotive culture and generates as much enthusiasm as a classic Ferrari or a Fiat 500. Renowned for its outstanding balance and driving pleasure, it feels even more playful and rigid than a Bertone coupé.
The example presented here is a “backdated” Giulia Nuova Super, featuring a more sixties-inspired appearance, including an elegant chrome grille, the earlier-style trunk lid, and refined rear bumper.
Originally delivered in the Netherlands, this car is believed to be the 4th-to-last example produced before production ended in 1977. This Alfa Romeo was displayed in the Amsterdam showroom where it was eventually sold in 1978.
The vehicle has remained in the hands of the same owner since late 2015, having been acquired from an Alfa Romeo specialist in the Netherlands.
This Giulia underwent a restoration between 2010 and 2011. It was also upgraded with a 2.0-liter engine producing 130 horsepower in factory specification, complemented by a light performance preparation.
Paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel disc brakes, this setup turns the car into a truly engaging sports sedan capable of surprising many modern cars.
