This Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Spider entered onto the traffic scene in 1967 and is still a stunning sight to behold. The Giulia Spider (Tipo 101.23) has a 4-cylinder 1.6 litre engine producing 92 Hp coupled to a manual 5-speed gearbox. The Twin-Cam engine has that typical throaty Alfa Romeo note, enhanced in our case by twin Webers and exposed air-filters. This car’s colour scheme is lovely. The light blue paintwork contrasts neatly with the black hood. The interior is also quite stylish with its black leather seats and red carpets. Overall this Alfa Romeo is in very neat condition. The paintwork is neat with only slight evidence of use. The straight bodywork has nice and thin, correctly aligned body panels. The hood is in a neat used condition and seals well. This Alfa gets a clean bill of health when it comes to corrosion. Inside the car is very neat, with the seats having been re-upholstered and the red carpets neat and showing some fine patina. The dashboard again is very neat with all instruments in good working order. Mechanically this Giulia has been properly maintained. The 1.6 runs well and the engine bay is clean. The gear change is smooth with out play.
