Description

This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sprint Speciale in very good condition.

This beautiful coupé was designed by Sergio Scaglione, and has one of the bodyworks built by Bertone. Only 1,400 units were manufactured between 1963 and 1965.

This version is equipped with the powerful 1,575 cc engine with two Weber 40 DCOE2 carburettors. This was the same engine that had the Giulia Sprint Veloce, with 112 hp of power and capable of taking the car up to 200 km/h.

This car comes from the USA, where it was restored. The quality of the bodywork, paintwork, mechanics and upholstery jobs is very good, but there are a few small details missing to make the car perfect.

Its main flaws are: there are some small scratches in the paint (almost impossible to see), a small crack in the paint of the boot lid, the dashboard handle upholstery is damaged, and the boot rubber should be replaced. Everything is shown in the photos.

The engine has just been fine-tuned and it starts and runs very well. The carburettors have just been fine-tuned. Gearbox and shock absorbers both in very good condition.

The interior is very neat and there are minimal signs of wear. The car comes with a modern radio.

This Alfa Romeo has been personally inspected by the Catawiki expert, including a mechanical test.

You can view and collect this vehicle in Madrid, Spain, and it is available to check it. The seller has a car lift and space for a major inspection.
