This lovely Alfa Romeo 2000 Sprint was supplied from new in Vercelli, Italy on the 8th January 1962. The Sprint we have here is the rarest model in the 2000 series. In its two-year production run only 704 cars were built. This Sprint shares its engine with the 2000 Touring Spider and thanks to the twin Solex carburettors produces in excess of 115 HP. This car has recently been subject to a full mechanical overhaul and restoration. The wonderful bodywork is straight and has neat body panel fittings. The paint finish and chrome details are superb. The great underbody is flawless and of course completely rust-free. The well cared for interior is as good as new. The Alfa has an Ivory finish with a black leather interior trim. All very period correct. This is a sporty, Italian, 60’s Coupe of which only a few were ever built, let alone still exist. Take all the previous and then consider this piece of history presented in such fine restored condition!
