The 1750 "Berlina", designed by Bertone was launched in 1968. Elegant and sober, it also featured sporting performance. This example, is in perfect original condition and was discovered in the Piedmont region of Italy in the 2000s, in a state comparable to a model just coming out of the factory. Despite the humid climate of the city, the bodywork, grey in color, was in this condition, no rust or accident, never having undergone any repairs or restoration, which is very coherent to the car's mileage: 27,000 km only !
The car is in an exceptional condition: the dashboard, usually suffering from the harshness of the sun, the grey carpets and the upholstery all not only seem new, but are genuinely original. The engine is quick off the mark and the carburetors offer the flexibility of an injection system. The car has undergone a complete overhaul at a brand specialist in Bari, where it was purchased. The brakes and steering are very precise and the gentle clutch snaps into second gear very easily, which is indeed a rare thing. The "Alfistis" will understand... The Foggia Garage inspected the car in 2013 and slight corrections were done.
It comes with its original registration papers from Milan (the original libretto) and obviously has its original engine, all ready to be revved.
